| Il 15 novembre scorso
il ciclone Sidr ha colpito duramente alcune zone del Bangladesh, terra natale
di Bimal Roy, il regista al quale è dedicata la retrospettiva. River to River. Florence Indian Film Festival ha deciso di destinare alle vittime del ciclone una parte dell’incasso dei biglietti, che verrà consegnata a Medici Senza Frontiere durante la serata finale. In quest’occasione, un rappresentante di MSF darà un aggiornamento sulla situazione nelle zone più colpite dal ciclone Sidr e sulle attività a favore delle vittime. |
On November 15th
the Cyclone Sidr has devastated some parts of Bangladesh, motherland of
Bimal Roy, to whom the Festival devotes a retrospective River to River. Florence Indian Film Festival has decided to assign to the victims of the Cyclone Sidr a part of the ticket income, that will be given to Médecins Sans Frontières during the last evening. On this occasion, a representative of MSF will give an update of the situation in the areas that have been more injured by the Cyclone Sidr and on the activities in aid of the victims. |
